This writer really knows how to pack a book with great suspense, drama, love and passion without all the craziness and sloppiness. This is a series that I love to read.
The Marriata men are seriously alpha and can be deadly when you mess with their women and family. This not a series to miss. Healing inc. is the first of this series and will definitely get you hooked. These are over 200 pages and will have you drawn in from the get go. This is one of my favorite IR authors because she writes such amazing stories and characters. The women are just as amazing as the men and will have you laughing and cheering because their love for the men and family is just as intense and inspiring.
I wonder who's story is next?

From reading the other reviews I expected to fall madly in love with this book. I didn't. At all. Don't get me wrong it's a well written story but it was lacking to me. Sheila was a crazy combination of strong and weak which I found annoying. The whole thing with her ex Ahmad was stupid to me. Lucas was not my idea of an amazing hero. There was nothing wrong with him, or her for that matter, they just didn't do it for me. He was bossy and sweet and always horny in between.
The inclusion of their families was a bit much for someone who hasn't read the other books in the series. And if this is any indication, will not be reading them.
There was also a lack of passion to me. I like my books steamy and this one is not at all. At least to me. The few and I mean 1or 2 times anything was done in this book were good but not great.

Like I said. I expected more from the reviews. I am actually disappointed I purchased it.
And another thing. No one has said anything yet about their ages. It may or may not matter to some of you but it did to me to an extent. But just so you know they are both in their 40's.

Another Moriatti Man To Fall In Love With

I love this story it's a good follow up story to Healing Inc the characters to me had good chemistry together and I like the suspensefullness (sp) of it all. It brought in the characters of Healing Inc I like that. Plus to me Luca was all alpha not as much as Tyler was but then they are two diffferent characters but I still love him no less. Shelia was a a good character she was a bit over the top sometimes but she still was what Luca needed.

Anywho I can't wait til the next book in the series come out who is it gonna be about Drago and Rie I have my fingers crossed.

About the Author

This book was suppose to come out in print in 1941, but due to the attack on Pearl Harbor and anti-Japanese propaganda, it postponed its release until 1949. Toshio Mori is a master of storytelling. These collections of short stories should be with such classics as Hemingway and Saroyan. Yokohoma, California is both heart-felt and humorous. It is one of the best books on the Asian American experience.

I first discovered Mori's writing in an anthology, but when I heard he published collections of short stories, I had to find them. This collection is marvelous. If creative writing doesn't work out for me, I want to pursue academic study on Mori and the universality in his writing. His story go beyond Asian American literature. A must-read author for anyone interested in Asian American literature.

Great for artists who seriously want a clearer roadmap to a career in music!!!

I wasn't too sure on what to expect before I started reading this book. I have to admit that the title of the book was brilliant because it's actually all it took to persuade me to buy it. Luckily it worked out because I got a lot out of this book. My band is already starting to generate revenue because we've applied the knowledge from this book to our personal situation. I also have a clear idea of how to grow our business now. I'm sure a lot of you who are reading this review, are in a situation where you want to know how to make music your career or at least figure out if music is even a career you want to pursue. The great thing about this book is that it gives you a very clear perspective on both. The thing that I started noticing when I first started reading was how easy it was to understand. It was also very refreshing that Simon established right away a "No BS" way of presenting information. He also did something subtle that makes you respect his presentation. As an example, he gives you information that may have variances to them but he discloses that the information was accurate to his knowledge at the time of writing. so much fun and creativity for a mitten

I read this with my two year old and he had a lot of fun with it. This yellow mitten has a very creative owner who enjoys making up games with the mitten and even more once she finds the other mitten in the pair. The book has a great happy ending, and the whole story truly does revolve around the girl and her one yellow mitten. The illustrations are bright and engaging and the story rhymes. This is great for preschoolers.

This fun wintertime book shows the creative things you can do with just one mitten in a sweet, comical way. The child does eventually find her other mitten, so she shows what can be done with two. It's good-natured fun. Especially great for K-1st graders. Younger readers can certainly enjoy it with mom or dad as the reader.

Great simple story

I have to give this book 5 stars. I got it for approx. $3 from scholastic book clubs and we have been reading it every night for the last 2 weeks. It is a very simple story, but sweet and creative. My son is just starting to get into reading the story book kind of books rather than always wanting simple disconnected pages (he is 3 and a half). I find this book is a nice in between, it is simple and rhymes, but there is still a progression to the story.
